Sobrevivente teve ferimentos graves. Batida deixou trecho da rodovia entre Palmas e Lajeado interditada por algumas horas e depois o trânsito foi liberado em ‘Pare e Siga’
Um motorista de 60 anos morreu após um acidente entre dois caminhões na rodovia TO-010, no trecho que liga Palmas a Lajeado. O outro condutor ficou gravemente ferido e teve uma das pernas amputadas, conforme apurado pela TV Anhanguera no local.
O acidente aconteceu na tarde desta quinta-feira (18), no km 23. O trecho ficou interditado e gerou congestionamento de cerca de 2,5 km.
Uma das pistas está sendo liberada pela Polícia Militar e o trânsito deve seguir no sistema pare e siga.
Conforme apurado, o motorista que morreu seguia sentido Lajeado quando houve a batida. Ele foi socorrido pelo Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu), mas sofreu parada cardíaca ainda no local.
Equipes médicas realizaram manobras de reanimação cardiopulmonar por cerca de uma hora, mas ele não resistiu.
O motorista que sobreviveu foi levado para o Hospital Geral de Palmas pelo Corpo de Bombeiros.
